How you felt laying on that bed when all those feelings came rushing in, And you could not escape from yourself…
Our absence is always remembered and held accountable by our own memories.
Our lack of depth, with ourselves and the world around us, Creates the illusion that our imprints were made, But you will soon see them fade away.…
I’d like to contemplate on how we remain so broken and confused, Disappearing from ourselves. I believe this is due to the fact that we have lost complete connection with the reality of life, By trying to live in reality.
In the process of forming up our identities, We have given up who we truly are, Distracting ourselves, pretending we don’t hear our own cries, Muting our minds and bodies to behave in a matter that suits society's concept of who we SHOULD be; Stuck on an ancient mindset with no ancient modalities. We continue to play out of tune, Yet play as if we are creating the music of the Gods, Tooting our own horns, Repugnant on how we treat others because we know better.
We have abandoned our senses to become senseless as means of survival, Such primal behavior, We who refuse to evolve, conformed to our comforts because life is much warmer at home. What is home? We cover ourselves in layers, forgetting what it's like to feel the earth's vibrations beneath our comfortable high top shoes, Totally disconnected from that of which we were made in resemblance of….
We completely fell out of rhythm, shallow breathing, Choking out from the fumes of our own creations.
Fear has caged our spirit and alienated us, Drawing a line between each other…
Can we begin to perceive life from its own eye…
